Welcome to The Journey of Oak City. A lot of people ask, "What's The Journey?" Some people would say it's a new service of Oak City Baptist Church. Others would say it's a group of people having fun serving the Lord together. Others might even tell you that it's a gathering of people who love to worship the Lord.

The simple answer is all of the above. The Journey meets on Sunday afternoons at 5pm in the fellowship hall of Oak City Baptist Church in Oak City, NC. The service is what some would call contemporary. This meaning that it has upbeat music and a relevant messages for today's generations. This truly is a time of worship that you can come just as you are.

Keep in mind that The Journey is more than just a service. In life, we all face various circumstances each and every day. Some days are filled with laughter. Other days are filled with tears. Any yet, some days are just routine days. The Journey is about people being able to share that life together and being there for one another all the while pointing our lives in the direction of the Cross. We want to be encouragers to one another in the name of the Lord and hope you will come with us on this Journey of life.
